Update: New Mobile Suit Gundam Anime - "Mobile Suit Gundam 00" [05 Jun 2007|12:24am]

A New Mobile Suit Gundam have been confirmed for this October:

Quote from Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_Suit_Gundam_00):
(機動戦士ガンダム00, Kidō Senshi Gandamu Daburuō?) is the latest television anime of Sunrise's long-running Gundam series. It will premiere in October 2007 on MBS and TBS's noted Saturday 6:00pm timeslot, replacing Terra e....

The series will be set in 2307 AD of the Gregorian calendar, following four mobile suit pilots termed Gundam Meisters (ガンダムマイスター, Gandamu Maisutā?), who are part of a private military organization called Solestal Being, which is dedicated to eradicating war with the use of Gundams. Gundam 00 is the first Gundam series to utilize Gregorian calendar dates, rather than a fictional calendar system utilized in prior series.

Have anyone actually seen the 3D CG Ovas depicting the hidden stories of the One Year War from the Original Gundam? What are your thoughts and opinions on this series so far?

P.S. The current released progress so far is the 3 Episodes of the Hidden One Year War have already been released, as well as all 3 Episodes of Apocalypse 0079.

This Entry have been updated on December 18, 2006.

Hey are the three movies that Gundam Seed has, are they really movies, or just the episodes put together? From reading the backs of the DVD case it sounded like it.

Zeta Gundam on Japanese top 10 DVD list [02 Jan 2006|07:03am]

[ mood | tired ]

Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam: A New Translation -Heirs to the Stars- placed 6th in a list of top anime DVDs sold over the last year in Japan, with 138,215 copies sold. Among the other titles in the list were Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Steamboy, and several foreign animations (since by definition in Japan, anime is animation in general, not just their particular style). Nice to know people still like UC, even though from what I've heard the actual movie is somewhat lacking. *decides not to rant about lack of UC series since 08th MS Team today*
